No Bake 5 minute Gluten Free Chocolate Slice

A delicious chocolate slice that's gluten, dairy, egg and nut (option) free! Also incredibly rich in minerals, healthy fats and a source of protein. Best of all it takes 5 mins to make then into the freezer for safe keeping!

Ingredients

  • 1 cup desiccated coconut plus extra for topping
  • 1/4 Cup cocoa
  • 1 Cup sunflower seeds
  • 1 cup medijool dates (pits removed)
  • 1/2 cup oats (nut free) or almond meal (GF) or extra coconut!
  • 1.5 TBS coconut oil
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 2 tsp honey optional

Instructions

  • If you have a food processer you can chuck all the ingredients in. If using a high speed blender (nutribullet etc), pulse sunflower seeds and oats to a fine meal, chop dates into small pieces and mash with a fork and then mix all ingredients together in a bowl. Use your hands to mix all ingredients together to form a doughy mixture.
  • Press into a lined tray, sprinkle with extra desiccated coconut and pop in the freezer to firm up (about 15mins).
