Hemp seeds are an amazing powerhouse of nutrients. I love them for their magnesium and anti-inflammatory omega-3s as well as a broad spectrum of other essential minerals. ⠀

Together with the chia and sunflower seeds these nutrient balls also contain B-Complex Vitamins, iron, calcium, zinc, antioxidants, protein and Vitamin E to name that all that work to keep the immune system strong and nourish the nervous system.

Choc Hemp Seed Bliss Balls

Servings: 18 balls

Ingredients

  • 1/4 cup chia seeds ⠀
  • 1/4 cup sunflower seeds ⠀
  • 1/2 cup hemp seeds⠀
  • 1/4- 1/3 cup cocoa for extra chocolatey flavour⠀
  • 1/4 cup dessicated coconut⠀
  • 1/2 cup chopped dates⠀
  • 2 Tablespoon coconut oil ⠀
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla⠀
  • 1-2 tablespoons water if needed

Instructions

  • Grind/blend all dry ingredients in blender/processor.  ⠀
  • Mix with dates, vanilla and coconut oil, adding small amounts of water if needed to stick together.
  • Roll into balls and coat with coconut or hemp seeds. ⠀
  • Store in Fridge or Freezer.
